Clere du Bois is a small village set on the edge of ‘Le Brenne National Parc’ with around just 80 people. The village has one bar/restaurant around 100m away in the centre of the village called L’Assiette. The church and park are just opposite La Vieille Ferme with a childs play area and petanque/boule pitch!

There are many local towns and villages (see more in ‘Things to do’) with the nearest local amenities being in the nearby town of Châtillon-sur-Indre, around 10 minutes driving away. There is an Intermarche supermarket,  Boulangerie/Pâtisserie, bars/eateries, post office, hospital and pharmacy.
